JAPAN AIRLINES - SKYWARD MAGAZINE

An early morning editorial shoot exploring some of Melbourne’s standout coffee spots for Skyward Magazine. Alongside writer Reiji, we café-hopped our way across the city, fuelled by plenty of croissants and coffee.

I chose to work light and shoot exclusively with natural light, allowing us to move quickly through busy cafés while keeping disruption to a minimum. Leaning into the available light also helped create the authentic editorial feel I was after. A highlight was landing the cover image and seeing the feature make the magazine front cover.
